刘月宁

刘月宁现任中央音乐学院教授、硕士生导师、音乐孔子学院办公室及"中外音乐文化交流与体验"基地主任。第十二届全国政协教育界委员。欧美同学会•中国留学人员联谊会副会长,中国民管学会扬琴专业委员会副会长,九三学社中央委员,九三学社中央文化工作委员会副主任,中国印度友好协会理事等。曾任美国密歇根大学、乌克兰立谢科国立音乐学院、捷克维瓦诺夫斯基国立音乐学院客座教授。2004年中国教育部访问学者在匈牙利李斯特音乐学院从事音乐教育研究;2009年美国福特基金“亚洲学者”在印度德里大学音乐系从事印度音乐文化研究。
  刘月宁1977年以优异的成绩考入中央音乐学院附中,1978年她在中国100多个驻外领馆播放的新闻纪录影片《春蕾》中以一曲《映山红》而名闻海内外。作为中国音乐文化的交流与开拓者,她的足迹已遍及欧、亚、美等大洲30余个国家和地区。2005年应捷克扬琴协会的邀请,成为国际扬琴赛事历史上的第一位中国评委;2006年为表彰她在国际文化交流方面所做出的突出贡献,被匈牙利教育部及乌克兰国立高等音乐艺术学院授予荣誉证书;2007年作为首位中国扬琴音乐家,应墨西哥扬琴协会特别邀请,率团参加拉美国际扬琴艺术节。
  2005年于北京举办的六场师生扬琴专题《悠扬琴声通南北师生情深贯东西》音乐会系列,首次在中国开创专题系列音乐会的先河;2008年8月创建中国第一个以重奏的形式演绎中外经典作品的 “茉莉花”扬琴重奏团,并应邀在国家大剧院音乐厅首演,首发唱片《茉莉花开》。2013年7月,在北京音乐厅举办中印文化交流史上首次中印民乐与交响乐团合作的“当东方与东方相遇(系列之三)----- 中印之夜•刘月宁与印度音乐家新作品音乐会”。
  刘月宁教授的教学和学术成果丰硕。在为国家培养大批优秀专业人才的同时,还在海内外发行个人演奏专辑17张;出版专业教学教材10余部系列;发表学术论文、译著10余篇、部。2010年出版中国第一本国际扬琴领域译著《东欧扬琴音乐文集》,填补了中国对扬琴这件世界性民族乐器在学术研究领域的空白;2011年为纪念泰戈尔诞辰150周年,与著名泰戈尔诗集翻译家白开元先生合作出版中国第一本《泰戈尔歌曲精选集》。2013年发行“茉莉花”扬琴重奏团的第二张专辑《茉莉芬芳》。2014年出版《中印之夜》DVD专集并以优秀成绩完成教育部“新世纪优秀人才培养计划”结项工作。
Dr. LIU Yuening is Yangqin (Chinese Hammer Dulcimer) Professor and Master’s Supervisor of Traditional Instruments Department of the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM). She is also Director of the Music Confucius Institute office and Center for the Exchange and Experience of Chinese and Foreign Music Cultures of CCOM. She is a member for education of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). She is the Vice President of the Yangqin Association, Vice President of the Western Returned Scholar Association--Chinese Overseas-Educated Scholars Association (WRSA), Board of the Cimbalom World Association and the China & India Friendship Association, member of the International Society for Music Education etc.. She worked as a visiting professor of Michigan University, USA; M. Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music, Ukraine and P. J. Vejvanovsky National Academy of Music, Czech Republic.
She went to middle school of CCOM with great grades in 1977. She became widely famous by her play of Yinshanhong in the news documentary film Spring Bud that played in over 100 foreign consulates in 1978. She as excellent results with excellent roll student graduated from CCOM with subject Yang Qin and Gu Qin which are typical Chinese Traditional Instruments in 1987, and she teaches at CCOM till now. She got her Master Degree at CCOM in Beijing in 1994 and her Ph. D at Eotvos Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary in 2008. She was appointed by the Ministry of Education of China as a visiting scholar for music education to the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary in 2004. She was granted ASIA Fellows Awards funded by the Ford Foundation to study music and culture in the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts of the Delhi University in India from in 2009. She was selected by the New Century Excellent Talents in University(NCET), a program supported by the Ministry of Education of China in 2010.
As a disseminator and pioneer of the oversea spread of Chinese musical culture, she has visited more than 30 countries and regions in Europe, America and Asia. In 2005, invited by the Association of Cimbalom in Czech Republic, she became the first judge from China in the history of International Dulcimer competition. In 2006, in order to commend her outstanding contributions in the international cultural exchange, she was awarded honorary certificates by Hungarian Ministry of Education and Volyn National Institute of Music and Art of Ukraine. In 2007, she was the first Yangqin musician and led a delegation to Mexico to participate in the International Gala of Dulcimer Cultural Exchange in Latin America.
In 2005, she held six concerts in series and blazed the trail of concert series in China. In 2008, she founded the first Yangqin ensemble in China called JASMINE and was invited to play its debut in National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) for the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games. Jasmine Ensemble also released CD Jasmine in Blossom.
Professor Liu has released 15 albums in China and overseas, published 10 textbook series and dozens of research papers and articles.
